If you have an old lock, which is damaged and need our Restore a Lock Service we will undertake this work for you. Our bench Locksmiths of North London Locksmiths Ltd. have such a service. At our Traditional Locksmith Shop in Green Lanes, North London, we undertake such repairs all the time.
It may be that you have a lock which cannot be purchased, because of age, or it is not made anymore, this is where we come in. We will always try and make a repair to a lock, before asking you to replace it. Locks are sent to us, or brought to us, from far and wide, for repair, as well as Councils, Housing Associations and antique dealers using our services.

Our professional Locksmiths take great care and attention to making sure that your damaged lock leaves our premises in good working order. We specialise in all types of
locks, even modern locks, where a small repair is required, we will not sell you a new lock, if your one can be repaired.
For example it could be just a spring needs replacing, we will go out of our way to make up a spring for that lock, it could also be that the lock has rusted up and you cannot get a replacement for it, due to age, we will always try and repair it the best way possible. So if you have plans to restore your house and would like to reuse the old locks, to add a special detail to your house, give us a call, or send some photos, if your local to our shop, pop in with them and we will tell you what can be done.

Here are just a few examples of what we can do to Restore a Lock for you to enhance your property, the above examples are the before and after, the before is how it was brought into the shop, and was not working, it was stripped down repaired, cleaned up and restored to good working order. Here is another example of our undertaking to Restore a Lock, this latch was damaged, when the customer brought it to our shop, it was repaired and restored, as shown after restoring. It was then spray painted to the colour the customer required and again left our shop in good working order.

And yet another Lock restoration undertaken in our work shop. the customer sent us a photo of his lock, this was a metal restoration Company, after they had taken it out of the gate. We asked them to fetch it to our shop, as you can see, we repaired every part of the lock, made two keys for it. Another satisfied customer left our shop. As you can see when we undertake TO Restore a Lock, we will always do our best to leave you the customer happy.

We also have a large stock of locks and keys, especially UPVC Locks spares, which we have collected over the years.
